My mother suggested we put this houseplant in our garden bed a while back, and we created a monster. Just looking for some advice on what’s going to be the most effective method in pulling it out.
Also fully aware already how terrible of an idea this was and I’m just glad it wasn’t mint.

I had a similar sized monstera, I cut it back a bit lower than you have done, then drilled holes in the stubs of branches and put roundup in the holes with an eye dropper. It died and eventually rotted and pulled out quite easily
These philodendrons can get huge. Had one get about 5m x 5m and 3m tall in the backyard. No secret to it really. I’d get a machete and hack hack hack dig dig dig
