Hello. Beforehand I wanna make clear I don't have a yard or a balcony of any kind, only these tiny spaces in my windowsills.
I also have no experience taking care of plants BUT I WANT TO LEARN🕺 so I bought this mint and I'm unsure as to how to take proper care of it. Really don't wanna accidentally kill it lol.
Also should I cut that leaf? And is it normal for the plant to come with a few tiny round black bugs in it😅? Any info will be appreciated. And yes I'm gonna buy a pot for it eventually don't worry

I don’t see any bugs but I do see cat bite marks
Mint is pretty hardy. Should be easy to keep alive and enjoy the fresh leaves.
I’d cut it off and dry or eat the leaves. Makes a nice tea too. I add that much to a meatloaf or felafel or hummus batch. You can root the cuttings stems in water for new plants as well. Then repot into the biggest pot you can and make sure you actually cut off the leaves regularly to keep it healthy and growing better. Wash it really well for bugs though.
