Hi plant lovers, trying to sanity-check my setup because my Venus flytrap haven’t really changed in the month I’ve had them.
They’re alive, but not putting out much new growth, which makes me think I might be getting something wrong.
Current setup:
• East-facing balcony(~6 hours of strong summer sun, with temperatures close to 40° C)
• Tray method (kept consistently moist – RO water)
• Owned for ~1 month
The sundew (in the same setup) is pushing new growth. I think I am missing something very obvious here.

Just by how wide the leaves are (before the traps on the end), it needs more sun. Watch for any new growth and see if the width of the new leaves is any narrower.
