Are there any recommendations about what to do with (what looks like) a terminal bloom? What will happen once it stops blooming? I haven't had one of my succulents do this quite so dramatically lol. I'm hoping to be able to get pups off of it and curious if anyone thinks I'll be able to. Thanks!

Only the flowering head will die. The rest of the plant will continue on living no problem. Just leave it be and enjoy the show, and when the flowers are finished you can prune off the dead head. 😊

Not all succulent blooms are death blooms.

I think it’s an Aeonium, maybe Kiwi? That bloom/head may die, but then you’ll get more cute little heads.

This is not what you would call a traditional death bloom. Plant will be OK. And there’s nothing wrong with death blooms, that’s just part of the evolution of the plant.

  6. My aeoniums are taking forever to bloom :c Hopefully they look as cool as these!
