Close to St. Paul, Minnesota. On top of having about a billion dandelions in my yard, the vast majority of them are these huge mutant plants like this. I have read about dandelion fascination And what can possibly cause it. These were taken after my first mow. My dandelions get so bad every year unless I pay a service for weed control. I'm kind of just venting but if anybody has suggestions on how to get rid of them I would appreciate it.

Damn dude throw a NSFW tag on this post, that last pic is lewd!
Chemical stress. You treated the lawn with a weed killer, yes?

I found a couple of those big boys in my neighbors yard last year…never knew they could get that big lol
Well this was horrifying to see before bed.
Nufarm 4speedxt from ifa has worked well for me
r/fasciation would love this
The third slide of definitely fasciation, looks kinda cool 😂 If you prefer not to use lawn safe weed killer I usually just use a hori knife to get the whole root out and then repair the hole but that depends on how large the lawn is! Tackled the biggest ones first and just nab one as you’re walking around the garden each time to make the job easier.
The past returns…
