I’ve had these two seperate schefflera’s for about 2-3 years and one of them is trying to grow roots onto the other rock. The they both have roots coming out of the tray too. Ive also noticed they both are requiring so much more water than they used to. I want them to keep growing rather than pruning, and was thinking of making a mini rock garden in a shallow pot for them. How do I go about transferring them? I’m 90% sure the rock is secured to the tray (I’ve tried to remove it by hand and it’s stuck). I’ve never done root over rock before and I don’t want to harm the plants
