Just spread some wine cap spawn this past week! So excited, hoping it works. The problem with ChipDrip is I almost always get conifer wood which is not recommended more than a third I think. I used leaves, ornamental grass clippings, and the wood chips, on the native soil. Great idea to use the pellets! Wish I had thought of that, my husband has plenty for his smoker.
The hardwood pellets are they the kind that they use for smokers? If not, where can you find them? I’m interested
