Hi Nate, We had neighbors with a Hummer, and they just had a carpenter come out and raise the height of the garage door header so they could pull it into the garage. I don't think that would be too big of a deal to do to one or both ends of the big garage. Congrats on the new place!

Hey Nate here's a little warning about the cracker barrel rocking chairs. I purchased 2 of them last year and they did not last 3 months on our covered porch. We bought 2 wood white ones and a little child one and they are all broken within a 3 month time spand. They split into and they come undone where the arm rest is, the wood is not real wood and their not made with the greatest sturdiest material. The weight limit on the wood ones are 225 my husband is 170 and his broke while he was sitting in it one day after church, thankfully he didnt get hurt because I cant even imagine what could have happened if that wood went thru him. We returned them to get their weather proof polly ones which hold up more weight and they only lasted barely made it 3 months so we decided no more cracker barrel rocking chairs. After spending $678 for those so called cracker barrel chairs we were very disappointed. I wish I had done my research before buying them, the reviews on them were very similar to mine. Good luck, just giving you a heads up.
You can’t purchase the barrels at Crackers Barrel. They are for the restaurants only. If you google search white Cracker Barrel wood rocking chairs they have them a heck of a kit cheaper at Tractor supply and I believe even Wayfair. I don’t know about the quality compared to Cracker Barrel. Can’t wait to see the movie room done! Don’t feel bad about saying no about the pond. You do not want to start that! If you haven’t already done it you should put up private property signs. I would be doing that. The property is beautiful. I watched young Nate fishing there!
Make sure you tell those duck friends to stop by my backyard I put some feed out for them 😂

I've had my Cracker Barrel rockers (big & child size) for 21 years and still love them.

Also Nate, don't feel bad about saying no for having someone wanting to fish on YOUR property and something that belongs to YOU and your family. Let them find their own pond, or buy a house that has a pond for them. I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot, they'd be saying no just like you did.

I'm sorry but I think that's just weird that someone would stop and ask to fish in someone's smaller property pond. I'd never even ask about one on a big farm lol. I guess living in an area surrounded by lakes makes me that way. Also respecting other people's private property.
I can only find polywood rockers on the Cracker Barrel website. However, Wayfair has wooden rockers.
You should buy a deer feeder and some apple corn.. they love that and you'll see the deer more and more

Envious of the property. But hey at least the folks that asked to fish your pond asked and didn't just do it. Props to them. A lot of people wouldn't have asked and just done it. They give the rest of us fishermen a bad name.
Love the pond. Ya need to get a fountain in it. That would be so pretty. Also good for the animals in the pond providing some aeration.

I wouldn't feel the slightest bit bad about saying no to fishing at your private property! It's crazy bold to even ask in my opinion. So many strange people out there, I'd be putting up a gate in the driveway and cameras everywhere. Speaking of a camera, a 24/7 live stream of the pond would be pretty cool haha
