So, I have an inch plant that was sadly (and oddly) developing root rot. I did the whole wash and examine roots thing and repotted what I HOPE were the healthy remaining plants, but these cuttings are what I salvaged, trimmed from the top of what had become floppy (not yet fully mushy) stems. The leaves on these cuttings aren't as hard/firm as those on the healthy plants, but I wanted to give propagation a try anywaym anyone have experience with this kind of situation? Do you think these cuttings still have a chance of rooting?

I think they all have a great chance of showing signs of roots within about a week! Lower the second one down just a bit to cover the second node 🫶🏻

ETA it’s the third one over *

Mine looked just like this and it started rooting after about a week and now has developed strong roots! I have it in a window that gets some morning light and I also run a grow light over all my propagations for 9 hours daily. I’m getting ready to pot it this weekend, but I’m nervous!

Yeah dude these will root for any reason. You can throw them on some dirt and dare them to die and they will fill the whole pot in a season lol

Absolutely. They’re super easy to root. I’ve had tiny ones with only one node and was able to root them. I actually rooted my first ones on accident! It’s what started my plant journey.
