Gave my Monsteras to my dad when I moved out almost 6 years ago now. I went NC with him a year and a half ago.

For my 25th birthday last month he gave my sister my monstera's to give back to me!!

My dumbass (very poorly) planted them together.. hence that little leaf getting crushed in the back.. I'm definitely out of practice keeping them.

I'm concerned the light source isn't enough for them. I've been giving them time to destress since the repotting but the leaves are still looking a little curled despite only weekly watering once the soil feels dry.

Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated. She's survived a long time, I'd hate to start giving her poor care now.

  1. Do you thoroughly soak the soil once its dry? There could still be dry pockets if the soil has gone hydrophobic. I’ll water mine from the top,  but have it sitting in a bowl to catch the run off. Then I’ll dump whatever is left after about an hour or so.

Also, its hard to tell from this image, but it looks like the pole is in front of the plant, in between the petioles? You might move it to the back of the main stem for better support!
