Hi all, is it normal for older leaves lower down to yellow & fall off easily (idk if u can see in photo but there are about 4 leaves, a few crispy & crinkly) I love this guy & just want to find out if this is normal process to growing or if I’m doing something wrong…. Had it 2.5 years but can’t remember if she went through this last go about

This happens in most plants. To some like strawberries very frequently, to others like ficus more sparingly.
When the conditions like nutrients, watering and sun are not enough to satisfy the whole plant, the plant sheds the older leaves to keep the new growth that usually can contribute more.
It might be a nutrient lacking like magnesium but if it’s at a small rate I wouldn’t personally worry about it. My dioscorea loses and gains leaves all the time.
