Good morning, I’m sure glad I caught this video. I always wondered what you used your cistern for. I get that it held water, but I wasn’t sure if you used it for inside the house, so it sounds like it’s just the garden but still sounds like a good thing you’re getting it all taken care of. Now I have to go back and find your video where you talked about your ring gauge. I thought that was very interesting. As you know with all of our Geo engineering, I’m just never really sure what is coming down in that rain. You did make me giggle… You’re funny! We had the Carr Fire which was huge and then the Paradise fire. I do know or have heard there are people that live up in the mountains where these fires seem to occur often that have started rain catchment systems. His might just be those very large plastic containers, which they can use for their gardens or to possibly help put out fire. I’m not sure if it was here in California, but I heard recently that someone is being fined for having a rain catchment system on their property. Now, why would that be??? Our fires here are very very suspicious! Sounds like those darn Taxes are following you from California to Tennessee… Lol. Really it’s not funny. I think my husband had to pay somewhere around $400 for the registration of his truck. I better head out and get my watering done and head to the big box store for more drip supplies! It never would have occurred to me that the cistern leak was right above the water line, but like you indicated, that makes absolute Perfect sense! I always think about how much water pressure and possible erosion there would be even on the patches and/or their edges. I drive myself crazy overthinking little things like that. I also have some drip irrigation lines that I can't get myself to install, part of my chasing my tail with the gardening I can't seem to get back to so far. Sigh!
