In Genesis 1 and 2, there are three major patterns revealed: work, rest, and community. God’s design for work was meant to be a way for humanity to show some creativity and express the image of God. Work was meant to be dreaming, imagining, serving, and leading the natural systems that God designed. And even though we failed in this initial mission, the hope of the kingdom is that God will redeem this for us so we can enjoy true dominion work in eternity!
