So I thought it was hard to kill mint, but my plant doesn't seem to be doing well from what I can tell. I first potted it in some older, dryer soil, which it didn't like (obviously 😬)…I'm new to this and learning. I repotted it with some container garden mix from Bumper Crop. I haven't been watering it much because it's been raining and the soil seems moist.
The leaves seem to be shriveling and dying from the bottom of my plant, starting going upward. Any idea what could be going wrong? Or does the plant seem to be recovering? Would love for the mint to take over the pot.

It’s trying to manipulate you into taking pity and planting it so it can dominate the world, starting with your yard. Don’t give in. Resist.
That soil is still composting judging by the amount of lumber I can see
I somehow killed it every damn year until I planted it in a large whiskey barrel planter. You may want to simply use a larger, wider planter to allow it to spread out. Other than that probably just leave it alone. I haven’t really touched mine this year and it’s all growing back.
It is. It may look sad now but as we speak its probably growing something under the soil so it can take over another area
Water. My mint doesn’t droop when it needs water, the stems begin to wither from the bottom up.
The pot seems large for the current plant size. The big question is whether the co tai er has drainage holes. They are critical.
At work we have a planter of immortal mint. Nothing is done to it but it persists

Try to kill it, that will make it stronger and it will come back year after year 😆
