Take the flowers after they open and close halfway. Put like a peice of cheese or a meatball inside and sear it super hard. Sauce it and eat it. Super high end thing. Cheap af at home

My yellow squash are disappointing so far too. I have seen very few pollinators this year so that may be a correlation.
I’ve had luck with Cocozelle and other Italian varieties! Also ronde de nice
