Daffodils at the end of March, cut back and a single Tulip left now

    It really benefits the daffs to leave the foliage die back naturally as they use the energy to charge up the bulbs for next year. Some people plait them to keep them tidy but it helps to have other plants around to hide the leaves at this time. 😄 Tulips don’t really naturlise as well as daffodils here though so no harm in just pulling them when they’re done.

    Bamboo planted directly in the flower bed is a recipe for angry neighbours in a few years 😬
