I bought this guy from my Lowe’s a few weeks ago. It had more flowers when I got it but it overall seemed to need help. It was indoors on the bottom shelf partially wrapped in plastic.

I brought it home, repotted it, and gave it a water with diluted 1-1-1 from the bottom. Since then 3 stalks shriveled away. There also was a very limp leaf that I removed as well. All of the leaves seem very sturdy apart from that. There is one leaf that was torn and another with a blemish pictured. They seem healthy so I didn’t prune them.

I just wanted to see if I’m doing everything well here. I was watering from the bottom (put in fertilize-water for 15 minutes) once a week, but the soil was staying very moist so I have slowed down because I was worried about root rot. Should I prune those leaves? Is not watering until the top of the soil is dry a better way to go?
