Almost two weeks ago I asked for help on why my Pink Kalanchoe hasn’t produced pups, and it was highly recommended I got a grow light. One week after the grow light I am starting to get some pups, yay!

My main concern is that there is what seems to be a root growing out of the side of the main stem? This part of the stem sees unstable too and I am unsure what to do. I wondered if I should repot it deeper to cover it up? I don’t want it to get any taller and thought to maybe put it in a smaller pot if possible.

Thank you guys for all of your help

!aerialroots are normal, see bot below. They’re growing due to the legginess from lack of sufficient sun. Don’t plant deeper, the more stem there is in the soil increase the chance of potential rot.

Ignore the roots, or chop and !propagate.
