Peach cores.
Someone has moved out the country to eat a lot of peaches
Looks like peach pits. Squirrels probably stole a neighbors peaches and ate them in your yard. They raid my peach trees every summer if we don’t pick the peaches quickly enough. We have 4 pecan trees in our yard from nuts that squirrels stole off our neighbors tree and stashed or buried away. We joke that we have squirrel gardeners.
