I recently bought and repotted this lovely dwarf acacia for my balcony. Two nights in I realised it has been MUNCHED by a possum. I put it inside in a sunny spot for quarantine until it recovers and then will trial a net. (The possum doesn’t seem to eat anything else).
What will help it recover? Is there anything I can do?

It’s probably not going to do too well inside. You can try possum repellent from bunnings? It stinks thought iirc.
Acacia’s are nitrogen fixing so pretty much everything eats them.
Possum repellant, chemical forms are horrid smelling but will work for a while. You can also get electronic alarms – Animal Away is the brand I’ve seen most.
