Hey friends! Hoping for some help identifying whatever this thing is. Assuming fungus with the amount of rain and no sun we’ve been getting and the number of mushrooms I’m apparently growing elsewhere.
My plant app didn’t have any idea and frankly just looks like a nerf ball to me.

Is this type harmful to its host plant?
