Help! My kids are so excited that they found sprouting seeds from their apples. I threw them in a damp paper towel 2 days ago and they seem to be doing good so far. but- now what? I've tried apple seeds in the past and failed. Please help me make this work. I don't wanna break their hearts/fail them as a mother 😅

Hello! Unfortunately, while these can turn into trees, the apples are gonna be super gross and bitter. To get an actual sapling, you have to do this whole wack grafting deal on an already established tree. I can’t remember exactly why this is. If you cut up peppers or tomatoes, you can save the seeds and grow those, which will both be easier and taste much better!! No judgment if you’d like to keep trying, though 😊 throw those bad boys in a little seed tray, wait for bigger sprouts, and then you can move them if you’d like to continue!
