My boss has had this orchid for years, and its bloomed EVERY YEAR! It's in plain potting soil, no pruning, no repotting, yet it has outlived relationships and even pets!! Hell, they're barely home to even look at it.
My question is, how come mine dont bloom or even LIVE that long??😭

Looks more like a damn rootless orchids at that point oh my god
Wow is it morden art😆
Goes to show: phals are resilient 🌱
At this point there has to be magic in the dust or something, that’s incredible!
From my experience, less is more with orchids and they enjoy sunlight
Gives me hope because everyday i try to come to this sub to learn how to help my orchids survive (beginner) and it’s quite overwhelming at times. Got my MSU fertilizer (liquid) but still trying to understand what 1/4 strength means, after i figure out how to measure it out for a regular sized water bottle. 🤣 🙈❤️
I’m still learning… I have 5. 4 in good health, 1 is questionable but has new growth… what I’m learning is that although they need a good soak sometimes, they also need to go dry. I think most of us that struggle are over watering and helicopter parenting our plants. So ignoring an established healthy phal, might be the best thing for it. (Needs vary of course based on location)
Nature finds a way.
based on the pics it seems it abandoned the pot completely and is purely fed throught humidity
It’s definitely dying, albeit very slowly. It’s giving keikis…like “please, take my babies and put me out of my misery”
Ba-by phals, doo doo de doo doo doo…
