I’ve been cutting the suckers from this leaning, thirty year old Bramley for years, but is it necessary? I quite like how they look, they fill a gap, and I’d rather not bother.

itll take some energy away from the apples, it could be a crab apple rootstock so it would make crabs instead. if you dont mind that, no reason to snub them.
