I've had this El Choco Red for a few months. It has been growing slowly but surely, I guess. However, it has been tilting its leaves like wanting to face down, something I had only seen with my billie when I had it outside (and I got the message, it didn't burn but it was receiving way too much light for sure).

It's the same window I use for lots of other philos including the billie itself, tortum, a couple of floridas, a couple of melanos, etc. They get direct sunlight for a couple of hours very early in the morning, and bright light during the rest of the day.

Is El Choco Red a bit more light-shy than most other philos? I've never had one of these before and this just occurred to me.

From the info given sounds like you figured out the issue, so with what you stated I’d think the only thing to do is move it somewhere with less intense light and see if it changes the activity.
