What is this growing in my basil seeds?

   I think they’re both varieties of basil.

   I’m guessing it’s just another variety of basil. Did you try crushing and smelling one of the fuzzy leaves?

   Looks like a bunch of basil. Maybe the Thai variety which has a purple stalk and is a darker green.

   Hmm… it doesn’t look like basil to me. Notice how different the cotyledons are.

   Thai Basil and Italian basil. The Thai one will smell a little like liquorice

   I dont think this is red amaranth, purple basil or any other type of basil. The cotelydon leaves are not basil and red amaranth is very red, not just a little. I dont know what it is so the only help I can offer is to keep searching as im sure it’s neither of those.
