I spotted a pretty flower in my backyard and wanted to share. The plant app I have says it's a Texas Swamp-mallow. As you can probably see I am not great at keeping up with the yard so this corner by the shed has been allocated as anole space. I guess this guy likes being near the gutter pipe?

That’s a keeper. They’re easy to transplant if you give them a good start. Once it’s happy and starts flowering, they reseed super easy. Very minimal care is needed once established. They aren’t evergreen but they will continue to flower as long as it’s warm outside.

Beautiful native- rock rose. Must love the water from your gutter. Keep for sure.
