sometimes the best design moments happen by accident like this – the pink against that weathered brick is such a perfect color story. as a designer i’m always stealing inspiration from random street plantings because whoever did the landscaping here had great instincts about contrast and texture. those delicate blooms spilling over the hard edges creates this beautiful softness that makes me want to sketch it for a project or press some of those petals in my journal. i bet this little corner brightens your whole day when you walk by

I think Omaha Nebraska has one of the only cases of a man dying from ingesting this plant. His buddies bet him to, and he DIED! Highly toxic, every part. Gorgeous but DANGEROUS!
