My poor cactus has begun looking ill with paleness on the stem and now the bottom of the stem seems to be soft and… rotting? The plant sits about 12 feet from tall south facing windows, so it gets daily indirect light. I have typically water this plant every 2 or 3 weeks. The soil is these small rocks. I have never re potted in the 5 years of having it. Please send help.

Also the pot drains and has a small saucer!!
