Emergency services have rushed to a major Essex road following reports of a crash near a popular garden centre. Police, fire and ambulance have all been reportedly spotted on the A127 near the Alton Garden Centre.

The popular business is understood to be open and operating as usual. There is no impact on access to and from the car park and the store.
