Rhyncholaeliocattleya kat red giant
Purchased these on Saturday as a birthday gift for myself. Iβm excited to see the blooms open on my Jose Rosado, theyβve already started !
Iβve potted my Kat Red Giant up, how did I do ? Any tips or suggestions?

Nice! Happy birthday. What’s the full ID? Couldn’t quite make it out from the label, and there doesn’t seem to be any hybrid under that exact name.
Regardless, potting looks pretty good overall, but: you generally want to wait to repot cattleyas until they’re putting out new roots. Not as big of a deal with the complex hybrids, but just be aware, in case it wasn’t doing that already, that it could be set back a bit. I personally also would have waited until after the bloom is done, as you can sometimes cause the buds to blast if you repot while they’re trying to bloom. Finally, you generally want to pot up the plant so that the new growth has as much room as is feasible to grow in the pot. I can’t tell from the pics if that’s the case or not.
Regardless, looks like a nice, healthy plant. Happy birthday!
