Jessie Hoover, of the LSUAgCenter, held “Keeping Deer Out of the Garden” on April 13 at the Clinton location of the Audubon Regional Library.
Attendees learned about deer behavior, plants that help deter deer and practical tips for protecting gardens.
April Newsome and Aubrey LeGette, of the library, said, “We had a fantastic turnout for our recent program in Clinton all about deer and deer-resistant gardening. A huge thank you to LSU AgCenter agent Jessie Hoover for leading such an informative and engaging session.”
