I’ve had this variegated haworthia for a few years now. Last year, I accidentally snapped one of its flower stalks… instead of trimming it off, I just sort of let the stem “dangle”… about 1.5 months later, I noticed what looked like a new baby plant developing exactly where I broke the stem. It has been like this for almost a year now…
Should I cut it off? It’s stopped growing in size.
Anyone seen this happen before? First time seeing such a thing for me.
The 1” dried tan stick looking thing is where I eventually trimmed the old stem back.

Nice baby. Good job. Over the years, I have had a few of these, sometimes multiples from the same plant. The stem usually dies back and you can see that the lower leaves of the baby are dying back. Just like most related things, you can usually eventually pop it off
It’s called a false vivipary at least on Venus fly traps
Very cool looking plant👍

I’m in the same boat lol! Mine grew one of those maybe a year ago now. Nobody on here seemed to know what to do with it so I just left it… I was thinking about trying to propagate it the other day, but I’m worried I’ll ruin it. I love the color on yours!
