This might sound crazy, but I would chop the bottom and top off, let it callous, and plant it log style.
It looks like it’s very well healed. How long has it been separated from the main plant?

Was this a graft?
Nope, best is to chop the tip off at the curve and let the base pup. Graft the tip and it will pump.

Log! Plant it horizontally and wait. I have 2 logs and they make a bunch of pups.
Just bury the bottom 3rd.
