I'm used to a lot of minor slug damage but I have never seen anything like this. Caught a massive banana slug still munching nearby in the full afternoon sun. Cored out a good 3-4in.

The forbidden flesh light
Every year, squirrels take bites out of the apical meristems on my shorter cacti.
It only happens once a year. I assume the squirrels sober up and go backpacking across Europe to find themselves or something idk.
They actually created you a cup to drink your extra super concentrated mescaline tea out of lol
Not that I am advocating killing anything, but…I used this product called Corry’s that seemed to disappear my slugs pretty well. Maybe they are sleeping with the fishes. 🤷🏻♂️🤣
