Just realised through research it’s actually a sign of stress!
Likely root bound and needs a bigger pot. They flower under stress because it thinks it’s dying and the flowering seeds are an attempt to find new ground and live on.
I’ll pick up a bigger pot at the garden centre tomorrow and mix it up some new soil too.
Though I’ll admit I’d be a little sad to loose the flower as it’s actually kinda cool.
Anyways just wanted to post an FYI for anyone in the future because it’s news to me!
