Best growing medium

I have two baby alocasia zebrinas left to pot on and I’ve waited too long because I want to try and grow them differently to the rest, they’ve are still in perlite from when I grew them and I need to put them in something else asap I think.

What’s everyones favourite way to grow Alocasia? The mother plant is massive and thriving in a super chunky potting mix which is what I’d do but I want to experiment different mediums for these two.

Any advice welcome!!
