There are amazing but an I going to get something that will be dead in a year? Do I need to transplant them? In Albuquerque NM

    Separate the species when you get home, use gritty cactus soil not regular stuff

    In NM, it’s probably dry enough to not worry about the soil. My issue is that those things are already packed and the flapjacks and euphorbias grow like a weed. It will be so overgrown in 6 months.

    If you get one, give it a slow transition from being stuck inside Costco to the high desert sun. Start it in a shady spot and slowly move it to full sun over 10 days or so. Once adjusted, those should do great in ABQ through the summer, then you’ll need to bring them inside before temperatures drop below freezing.

    They have different growth rates so you’d need to separate them. Looks cool though
