It hasn’t bloomed since I first bought it almost a year ago and I’m not sure if i might be accidentally suffocating her. (Got her at Trader Joe’s and is in the same pot)

They like small pots, but maybe 1 size up? The blooming – they want bright light and also ten degrees temperature drop at night to bloom! Balcony, basement, cool window or outdoors 🪼

Do not repot. It can stay in that pot for another 3 years.
Needs a very cool, dry winter to bloom. I took mine down to 45…stop watering when new growth is complete, and mature.  In The spring it will show buds swelling. Begin watering slowly…. fertilize rather heavily while in active growth.

You’re growing it well. It just needs the cold, dry winter

Normal. I don’t repot until the media is bad or the new canes have no more pot left

One thing about dendrobiums is they REALLY don’t like to be repotted. So you may want to wait until new growth is happening, and don’t get too aggressive about removing the existing potting mix/ disturbing the roots too much. I would suggest you research repotting dendrobiums more on other orchid boards before doing. Count on losing 1-2 years while the plant adjusts.
