Hello, just moved into a rental and wanting to get the yard looking better. Not really sure where to start but it is important that what ever I use is pet safe as I got 2 little pups. Ideally the yard would be more natural to the environment but that is not an option in HOA. It is full sun and I currently water 3 a week prior to sun rise. Any ideas/advice on the garden area would also be appreciated.

Spot treat weeds with roundup or pull. If the grass is bermuda, just give it some nitrogen and that’ll get it going between spreading and greening up.
