Hi, I've had this yuzu tree since summer of 2024 and recently noticed leaves are turning yellow and dropping. I've done some initial research and I think it's either frost or under feeding nutrition but I can't tell for certain.
The details:
– based in Melbourne
– recently have been getting cold mornings
– watering once a week
– fed fertiliser about two weeks ago
If it's due to frost, would sugar cane mulch help or do I need to ride it out till spring? If under feeding, would any fertiliser work or do I need a citrus specific one?
I know this question gets asked a lot so I appreciate any help, thank you 🙂

Not related to the yellowing, but I’m pretty sure Yuzu is generally grafted onto Lemon rootstock. Check if you’ve got growth coming from below the graft, it looks like you do.
