âThe Company has come into its own over the last four seasons,â said Carl Del Buono, founding artistic director of The Company Theatre of Rochester, Inc. âWe’re looking forward to taking on new challenges and bringing audiences and artists together to share in some truly life-affirming theatre in season five. With our thematic throughline, âA Closer Look,’ we’re taking a more intimate, almost voyeuristic approach to the storytelling. It’s as if you’re looking through windows, or overhearing private conversations.â
