A man has been arrested after a car crashed through a garden wall. Merseyside Police confirmed officers were called to an incident in Crosby in the early hours of this morning (April 27) following reports of a crash.
Officers arrived at the scene at around 4.45am on Monday to find a white Hyundai had smashed through a wall and was in the front garden of a house. Fire crews from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service safely freed a man from the vehicle. He was taken to hospital with a hip injury.
The 20-year-old, from Waterloo, was later arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
Emergency services also assessed structural damage to the property.
Images shared on social media and seen by the ECHO show the white Hyundai mounted on top of a red car, with a wooden fence and brick wall completely destroyed.
