Beefsteak tomatoes. I feel like it’s way too little and soon to be flowering, still another 2-3 weeks before it goes in the ground

    Yes, that is a flower cluster (assuming you’re talking about the bundle of green protruding from the stem at about middle of the photo).

    Nope pretty common to see flowers at this stage of growth.

    That’s the mega bloom that begins the first true branching. You can remove it and train the plant into V shape and maintain those 2 branches without any suckers or you can let it grow without any pruning and leave that bloom.

    Look at how the flowers are on their own; while your leaves and shoots are always popping together
