We bought a few strawberry plants that were near death during coV!d. They survived winters in a pot & neglect. They got out of hand really so we transplanted them & they really took off this year. Do I know what variety? No. Do I know they might grow better elsewhere? Yes. Does she eat 99% of them? Yes. Do I care? No. What matters is my child and I started this project 5 years ago & it/we are still going. It brings us together, screen free, we talk, we taste, we laugh, we get dirt on our hands and we are present with each other. Sometimes it’s just the little things you cherish.
