Good afternoon,

since when I have this plant it came with this strange issue: white patches that grow and eventually the leaves die and fall off.

Tried researching it and found out it is a fungus, so i removed the infected leaves and cut away a small portion infected on a 95% healthy leaf. Then sprayed the entire plant with a mixture of tea tree oil, water and soap. Nothing happened as after 3/4 days, from the whole cut in the leaf, the fungus started spreading again, you can see the pictures.

The pictures are in this order: the first show the completely infected leaves that I removed, then you can see the fungus spreading from the cut section of the leaf after 3/4 days after the treatment, then the complete modern state of the plant: overall the plant is healthy, but I think this issue will slowly kill it.

The plant gets plenty of semi-directed light, watering and food is always on point, I track these conditions very precisely (i hope).

I am not asking for which type of fungus this is, rather, if fungus, how to most effectively treat it.

Thank you very much. I am suffering with my plant.

you can try to treat it with systemic fungicide like carbendazim, and soak the roots in the solution at the recommended strength. that should kill the infection from the inside out
