Pictures really don’t do justice, it’s unbelievably pretty. There are some bluebonnets, primrose, and wine cups that you can’t really see in these photos also.

Looks so natural and beautiful! Have you had it this way for a few seasons or is it first year? Thank you for posting- I have some great books on doing this but of course I don’t get to interact or ask questions. You have what I hope to do!

What sort of maintenance does it require to keep it so beautiful but so natural?

Also are you thinking about pulling them when they whither or just letting them re-seed? That’s my dilemma especially in late summer/fall as you know. I had an old horse watering tank and everything turned brown and dead/leggy in the fall with our texas heat. I bought Pam Pennik’s great book but leaves out the times on when things go ugly haha. Thank you for sharing!

Can you outline what process you followed? Im working on attempting something similar this fall and am interested in how you created such an impact in one season.

Beautiful!! Did you sprinkle seeds or plant them in the soil? I tried to do the sprinkle method where you step on them to squish them in but I think the birds ate them all 🥴

Absolutely beautiful! I thought my wildflowers were going to be a bust – then it finally rained!
