So anyone actually grew Ramoso Calabrese? It's an Italian heirloom variety, the seed package says it is sprouting, despite it belongs to Calabrese. It's the first time I grow broccoli, but I think one of them looks like it is ready to harvest with the central head. But honestly I am not really sure. Everybody says "harvest when the head is still tight and dark green", althought it is not the case with mine: Since it started to form it wasn't tight at all, I thought it will be when it matures, but no. I don't know what to do, because the head is made up from many slightly separated small heads, so it is loose, but in fact it still grows. As you can see there are new light green florets forming at the centers of each "branch", so what should I do now?
And, is it normal, that Ramoso Calabrese grows like this, or I made some mistake?
