I replanted three of my rose bushes and I can tell they’re stressed. What can I do to help them rebound? I’m a newbie in the gardening world so any help is appreciated!

In the future, keep in mind that it’s always best to plant/replant shrubs and trees in the fall. It’s a much longer period of cooler weather that allows for strong root development over the winter months and will stress your plants less.

I agree with cutting back 50-60% and deep watering, but if this is a location that gets a lot of sun, putting up a shade cloth for the next week or so (depending on weather) won’t hurt.

Once you have some fresh growth, apply some diluted fish emulsion to the soil around the roses and top dress with compost.
