Need suggestions now, they look sad. Am I being impatient?! also left the sphagnum moss as it was almost impossible to remove.

My big sop plant that I had got some pest infestation and I decided to just cut and prop… I have had the most luck just sticking them straight in soil. Maybe it shocked it and is struggling now? If there’s not many roots you’ll need to make sure it stays moist but not waterlogged. I recommend a clear container or nursery pot so you can tell when it has roots. You could always try c&p again with a different method

I’m not an expert by any means but I feel like sphagnum moss is the opposite of what you need as it holds on to moisture? I’m pretty sure you need grit!
